This fine Ammonite Fossil from Madagascar dates to near the close of the Cretaceous Period, i.e., it's 110-150 million years old. Ammonites were cephalopods, predatory marine mollusks; animals that looked something like their modern relatives, the squid, octopus and chambered nautilus.
