The dolls are sold as set only with a boy and girl. The boy has a flat pill box like hat with a black or navy fringe. Both faces are a peach color. He has cloth white sleeves, no hands/arms. Trims, etc... for whatever country they represent. The boy may have suede hair. Small black triangle eyes and small mouth. The girl has draped cloth with band hat, brown hair with braids, frilly top cuff and billowy sleeves like male. She wears a dress with blue cloth front, red painted bottom wood and white at bottom. Unusual to find large MCM wood dolls in this style that survived. Good condition for age. On male, the fringe can have stringiness in the fringe due to age/use. Dusty on top of hat, some orange and brown spots on right arm sleeve. Both sleeve positions are not symmetrical; made that way. The wood blue bottom part has scuffs on backside, maybe horizontal nicks and maybe a few stuck on clump scuffs. Some wood nicks on top red maybe, made that way; see pics. Some brown stain spots on the white of base; could be old aged glue. The girl has some stain spots on front of bonnet under band. Backside on red painted dress, there are blue nick scuffs. A few small stain spots on navy cloth front, on white base; orange group spots on white. Both have magic marker on undersides of 279; unsure of meaning. Sold as is and as found. There may be other issues; glue stains, scuffs, flaws not mentioned but mentioned most significant. About 17" tall.
