Vintage Chinese Opera Doll Gold Thread Robed Man Silk Dragon Art Embroidery WOW

Up for auction is this incredible vintage Chinese opera doll with carved and lacquered wooden face and hands and an amazing silk robe with the finest of detail using gilt gold dipped silk threads.
There is a large dragon mouth center with dragons on the side and tons of embellishments including his headdress, a paper dragon he is holding in one hand, and a fighting spear in the other. The colors and vibrancy of the presentation is incredible.
No detail was left behind. The opera headdress is very stylistically accurate and very detailed yet delicate. Even underneath the embroidered robe, we see proper layers of large blue panels with two white long cloth belt straps. He even has hand-sewn pants underneath. His legs and feet are conjoined and made of a single piece of ceramic that was then fully hand-painted with an eye-catching and colorful design. Even his spear is carved from wood then hand-painted. I mean, WOW!
Would make an amazing piece to display, especially for a collector of Chinese art or dolls.
Measures about 18” inches high from feet to the top of the flags (45.7 cm). Hand to hand length is about 11.5” inches (29.2 cm). The base of the robe measures about 11.25” inches wide (28.6 cm).
An incredible amount of work went into this single doll. The robe is a work of art with more detail discovered every time you look at it. It is amazing it was done by hand!
Would make a fantastic display piece, fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!
