Blue Jay Hand Carved - Original Wood Carving

Description

I carved this Blue Jay from Tupelo Wood, put in glass eyes, painted it with acrylic paints, and mounted it on a woodland taxidermy scene.
The Blue Jay is about 9” long. The entire mounted piece is approximately 12 1/2” long x 7 1/2” deep x 13” high (to top of the bird’s head, the grass pieces are a couple inches above it).
The entire piece with base probably weighs less than 5 pounds because the stump is made from artificial materials.
