    Description

Estate vintage and rare, this is a Royal Orleans, Japan porcelain vase manufactured as the exclusive distributors of the National Audubon Society's Porcelain Collection. This vase, with its 18K gold rim, celebrates the Blue Jay, with a written description of the blue jay on the back of the white background. Both sides of the vase are plain white; one side has an interior chip which appears to have been done in the manufacturing process, as there is no radiating present. The front of the vase features several dark blue jays, all perched on a flowering tree branch, in vivid coloration. To the right bottom is a facsimile signature of John J. Audubon (which has a manufacturer's air bubble below). Overall the vase is in truly lovely vintage condition, well cared for and apparently never displayed. A wonderful gift or addition to your collection!  Only one of its kind currently listed on Ebay. Measures 7" high and 17" around at widest part of base.   Please see all photos for more details and close ups.
If you have any questions, please ask before purchasing. I do accept returns of an item in the same condition in which it was purchased. I am a legally disabled individual, and Ebay is literally my way of supporting myself; if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, I would appreciate your contacting me directly rather than posting an "Item Not As Described" feedback - those do count against us sellers! I have many, many repeat clients and always strive to do my best to make my buyers satisfied and happy with their new purchase!
Unless specifically designated as "brand new", all of my items are estate vintage, and thus have the normal "wear and tear" associated with older items with provenance. I try very hard to point out any and all "flaws" that would be important for a buyer to know before purchasing. I encourage you to ask any and all questions prior to purchase.
Shipping to the continental U.S. only via priority mail.   Shipping costs have risen dramatically for sellers and I use the method that is most economical and quickest as well as, frankly, the safest. I try not to use parcel post, as I've personally waited ages to receive those sent to me, with the package itself usually dented, broken or literally ripped open.  Payment is due immediately following purchase. I do combine shipping on multiple purchases; just contact me and we'll work together to make your purchases receive the best possible combined discounted shipping costs! Your business is truly appreciated and valued!
