  • Condition: Good antique condition. Normal aging. Tight hairline to the front of the figure's right ear. The vertical line measures about 1/2". Light wear and scuffs to the paint. Also, the figurine is missing part of the scroll that would have extended between both hands. Otherwise, condition is quite good with only normal aging to the fabric, No holes or damage to the fabric.

    Description

    Interesting Asian antique child figure or doll measuring 5" tall.  I am guessing that this piece is of Chinese origin.
    The figure has a gofun head, hands, and feet. The body is covered completely with silk fabric, fashioned as a traditional costume.  The costume is made of hand painted silk fabric, with a mix of  other elements.. It is highly detailed, as pictured.
    The condition of this figurine is quite good.  The head does have a tight hairline running vertically in front of his right ear.  Also, part of the scroll the child figure id holding between his hands is partially missing. There is normal aging and some minor wear and scuffs.  The fabric is in very good condition with only normal aging.  No holes or shredding.
