    Description

    1930’s Chinese Mandarin Man & Woman Pair of Dolls.
    These come from the Estate of an avid collector/ traveler of dolls around the world.
    Both were purchased in 1939 in Pekin.
    Each are dressed in silk costuming with beautiful finishings including knotted buttons and embroidery.
    The male has a long braid with a crushed velvet hat adorned with small peacock feathers.
    The woman has painted earrings and hair adornments.
    The hands are hand stitched and the heads are a ceramic type material.
    Each stands approximately 10 1/2” tall.
    Included are the older wooden stands for display.
